This project a collaboration between Artcenter and ASUS ROG. The design promt we were given was:
How does the uprising new age culture influence the ROG uses in the future? What change you may bring into the design to emphasize cultural expression and its importance for future gamers' needs?
Aimsey is a ROG-sponsored streamer with over 500k followers all over the world. She constantly tries to find more ways to connect with her audience, create new interactive experiences, and grow her community.
Lately, Aimsey and her streamer friends have been feeling struck by content creations. They feel like there are only certain things you can do on a stream, and it's difficult for them to have a breakthrough content-wise.
Spatium Space
The Spatium Space is a wall mounted device to keep track of the streamer and the room layout for the effect to be responsive.
Streamers install Spatium Space in their room and the devices will scan the physcial landscape of the room.
After scanning the room, the software recognizes and makes a digital copy of it.
Streamers can place the digital assets in their room with landscapes of the real room.
Spatium Tag
The Spatium Tag is a sticker tag device that can transform a realife object into an interactive digital object.
Start using tag by grabbing an object near you and stick Spatium Tag onto it.
Spatium tag will recognize the shape of the object and you can choose what you want it to be based on it's shape.
Now you can stream while holding the weapon of your choice！
Spatium Lens
The Spatium Lens is an augumented reality streaming aid. It helps the streamer to see the environment they've built while observing the stream data.
